GFP Guaranteed Funeral Plan is a group insurance administered by GFD and underwritten by Assurant Life of Canada.

With GFP Guaranteed Funeral Plan, your client qualifies for a discount based on his or her age at the time of purchase. The funeral is fully and immediately covered once paid in full. Your client can also pay in installments over the course of several years. During the first two years the death benefit will be what has been paid so far with 10 % interest. After two years, the death benefit is the full funeral amount.

When your client purchases a GFP plan you are eligible to enroll your client in the World Wide Travel Plan. It goes into effect immediately even the funeral plan is paid in installments. If death should occur while out of the country of just 100 kilometers or more out of town (60 Miles) the plan covers all the expenses to transport the deceased to your funeral establishment.

An administrative allowance is paid at the time of enrollment of the client. The amount is flexible based on the age of your client.
