GFPA Growth Funeral Plan Annuity

GFPA Growth Funeral Plan Annuity is a deferred annuity product administered by GFD and underwritten by Assurant Life of Canada.

It offers payment flexibility and peace of mind. If the funeral is paid in a lump sum it is fully and immediately covered. Your client can also pay in installments, the death benefit is what has been paid so far with interest.

When your client purchases a GFPA plan you are eligible to enroll your client in the World Wide Travel Plan. It goes into effect immediately even if the funeral is paid in installments. If death should occur while out of the country of just 100 kilometers or more out of town (60 Miles) the plan covers all the expenses to transport the deceased to your funeral establishment.  If the Participant is traveling alone, transportation and reasonable travel expenses for the next of kin to go to the location of death and accompany the deceased back home will also be included.

An administrative allowance is paid at the time of enrollment of the client. The amount is flexible based on the age of your client.
