Board of Directors
A Message From The President

Dear Member,

In 1961 a small group of Ontario Funeral Home Owners came together to form the organization known today as Guaranteed Funeral Deposits of Canada (Fraternal).  Its purpose was to manage and administer pre-paid funeral funds held in trust by Ontario Funeral Homes, to provide its Members with accurate and timely reporting in full compliance with Government requirements, and to ensure both security and the best rate of return for the consumer.

Today, GFD offers both trusting and two outstanding insurance products and strives to provide its Members with the most current information pertaining to the pre-planning funeral industry. The returns on our trust portfolio, as well as our reporting, are still second to none.

Whether you are a purchaser of a prepaid funeral arrangement or a Funeral Home looking for a fresh approach to servicing your pre-need clients, the GFD name is one that you can trust.  Security, peace of mind, and integrity…this is GFD.

We look forward to serving you.
